A bizarre facet in the realm of music, DJ Aqeel is the king of Indian remixes who has seized the best of Indian melodies and combined them with diverse sounds and rhythms taking it to an international audience. . Aqeel has played alongside with some of the world-renowned musicians such as Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue, Outlandish, Milo, Shaan, Adnan Sami, Jay Sean, Rishi Rich, Daler Mahendi, Sukhbir, Shivmani, Bombay Dreams, and many more, to create albums and music concoctions to dazzle the minds & heads of all the musical lovers across the world. He has toured across the American, European, African, Asian & Australian continents and over 30 countries bringing out his inborn talent in a new dimension of spectacular Sound, Rhythm and Tune.

While Aqeel has taken the DJ circles by storm, his music is making an impact abroad too. He is now responsible for remixing all the Yash Raj Movies and his new label's flagship dance imprint 'Yashraj Music'.   A major breakthrough in Aqeel's career was creating a remix number in Shaadi No.1 called 'AYASHI AYASHI' where he was roped in to compose the fresh and different title track of the film. This act of his was his first music composition as a Music Director and it was a Bollywood awakening to global music.   Last year, Aqeel composed a remix for Shah Rukh’s DARD-E-DISCO which has become a classic hit.  Aqeel latest remixes are found in the movie by Rakesh Roshan’s Krazzy4.  He has also composed a remix in Sawariya, Dus Kahaniyan, and Yash Chopra's Salaam Namaste called 'My Dil Goes Mmmm' and also composed a remix in Yash Chopra's Fanaa called 'Fanaa For You-Chand Sifarish'.

The quantum of sales that some of his albums have notched up speak volumes for his talent. His debut album was Daddy mix, followed by Ek Haseena thi, Kehdoon Tumhe and Albums like 'The DON', 'DISCO 82' and 'His Best Ever' have clearly made an impact in the remix industry.   Then came some of his enormous albums like, 'Kajra-re Remix', 'Power Play', 'Murder Mix' and 'Nach Baliye' and last year it was Power Play 2.0 which surpassed all the sales for a remix album.   He is one of the producers whose albums covers every genre of music, containing a taste of Electro House, Hip hop, R & B, disco, house to tribal, techno and Arabic beats.

Aqeel is a celebrity DJ and he played for many stars from both Hollywood to Bollywood.
